Registration process

The number of participants is limited to 200.

To ensure a heterogeneous audience, we will initially limit the number of participants from the same company/research group/etc. to 2 participants. If more members of your group would like to attend, please discuss priorities internally, prior to registration. We may open more slots at a later time.

Following the above, registration is split into two phases.

  • In the first phase, you can submit your personal details. In addition, if you wish to do so, you can submit an abstract (max. 2000 characters incl. spaces). At this point, you can also submit an application for a young investigator grant.
  • Once you receive our response, you can submit your definitive registration and provide your payment details for the participation fee. Decisions concerning oral presentations and grants will be communicated by September 2026.

Young Investigator (YI) Grants

Thanks to generous sponsoring, we are delighted to be able to offer young investigator grants of CHF 600 each to selected doctoral students and postdocs, to attend the conference.

To apply for a young investigator grant, please prepare the following documents before you start the registration process:

  • Abstract for talk/poster (max. 2000 characters incl. spaces)
  • Motivation letter (max. 2000 characters incl. spaces)
  • CV
  • Confirmation by your PI (download template here)

Short talks, flash talks and young investigator grants will be selected by an interdisciplinary committee, and decisions will be communicated by September 1, 2026.

Participation fee

There are three participation categories:

  • Early-career researcher
    (this includes students and postdocs)
  • Principal investigator
    (this includes all academic research group leaders)
  • Industry

The participation fees are the following:

What is included in the participation fee?
Participation in all conference activities and all meals including the conference dinner, but no accommodation.

Accommodation

The conference venue is the Morosani Hotel Schweizerhof in Davos.

Rooms at reduced rates are available for conference participants at this hotel. Booking information will be included in the confirmation email after definitive registration.

Bus transfer

There will be a bus transfer from Zurich main station to Davos on Thursday, January 28, 2027, leaving at 8 AM from the Zurich main bus station. There will be a transfer back from Davos to Zurich main station on Saturday, January 30, 2027, leaving at 2:15 PM from the hotel.

Seats are limited and will be distributed at a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are interested in using this transport option, you can indicate this in the registration process.
